I’m Deya, a Creative Designer living in Vienna (Austria) and interested in the Digital Design area.
My name is Greek but I’m 100% Latina - like an arepa (a typical Latin America food) and it has a story behind it (hint: it has to do with Greek Mythology). I speak three languages, Spanish, English and German. I tend to think visually, which I attribute to the math games my Mom bought me as a child (thanks mom!).
I love to visualize ideas and bring them to life. I get an unparalleled satisfaction seeing my ideas come to life.
My background is a bit different, but it's helped me grasp technology, social media and design in a unique way. I studied Systems Engineering (Hardware & Software), owned a cyber cafe back in Colombia and now spending already 6 years in Vienna, working as a user interface designer after graduating as an Art Director in Miami. And you might ask, why Europe? we can talk about that later :P
Ultimately, I want to create work that engages people in a unique way and makes them think, or laugh, or cry... or all three.
